Emigrating to Thailand: What do I need to do myself?

When emigrating to Thailand, there is a lot to do. At Transpack, we do our utmost to help you as much as possible. Documentation

 

For the official immigration procedure you need to de-register from the Town hall in The Netherlands and you need to register in Singapore. In addition, you must be in possession of a valid work permit, visa and a copy of your passport. You also need an English-language packing list of the equipment. Importing of goods

It is also important to know that it is not allowed to bring some items to Thailand, such as food, alcohol or tobacco. We advise you to contact your relocation coordinator. They will inform you about the latest rules and laws for importing items. To import a car, strict requirements apply and we advise you to contact your personal coordinator for the possibilities.

In addition, it is important that you are present at the arrival of your move. This is required for the clearance of your goods. This avoids unnecessary costs for customs storage.
